Avocado Toast Ideas: How & Why to Use Fresh Nasturtium Flowers From the Garden on Your Avocado Toast by Tiffany C
I grow flowers called nasturtiums. The flower and the leaf are edible and the seeds taste like capers! I learned that nasturtiums have health benefits and are packed with vitamin A, C and D. Nasturtium is easy to grow and I am going to add it as a yearly thing to grow in my garden. There is a slight peppery taste to nasturtiums. I added the fresh flowers on my avocado toast.
You'll need:
- fresh nasturtiums
- avocado
- bread
- Himalayan salt
- heirloom tomato, chopped
Here's how to make it:
- Mash the avocado.
- Toast the bread.
- Spread the mashed avocado on the bread. Top with the chopped tomato, nasturtiums and freshly ground Himalayan salt. Eat!
