20-Minute Korean Beef Recipe: Make This Fast, Flavorful Korean Ground Beef Recipe Tonight

Flavorful Korean beef in about 20 minutes? Yep! On nights that you have almost no time to make dinner, this will quickly become your go-to recipe. Serve this easy Korean ground beef recipe over rice or your favorite Chinese noodles.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain off fat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring, about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with chopped green onions and Sriracha, if desired.
  4. If adding a poached egg, simply put it on top of the beef right before serving. (Here's how to cook a poached egg.)

I made this last week. So good! One of the quickest recipes I've made in a long time. I didn't put an egg on it. I made both white rice and rice noodles to go with it. Yum! My Korean beef recipe calls for thinly sliced sirloin and takes a lot longer than 20 minutes. Sometimes it's not so tender either. Going to make your recipe soon. Sounds delicious.
