Creamy Buttermilk Chive Salad Dressing Recipe Is Ready In 5 Minutes by Donna John

Creamy Buttermilk Chive Salad Dressing Recipe Is Ready In 5 Minutes

One of my favorite things is homemade salad dressing. When I eat out, the first thing I ask is which salad dressing do they make fresh. If it's not made fresh, I'm out. This can be carried over at home, too. Resist the urge to grab that bottle of salad dressing when you're at the grocery store. It takes just minutes to whip up this homemade buttermilk chive salad dressing recipe. Your salad greens will thank you.

To make this low-sodium creamy salad dressing, you need just five simple ingredients. Here is what you need to buy (don't go to the salad dressing aisle!) at the store: buttermilk, fresh garlic, mayonnaise, fresh chives and green onions. The gluten-free ingredients are simply whisked together, seasoned with sea salt and black pepper, and put into a salad dressing cruet, mason jar or airtight container.

Drizzle this fresh and tangy buttermilk salad dressing over salad greens, use it as a dip for vegetables or other appetizers, drizzle it on pizza or burgers, or use in pasta salads. Delish!
