Easy 3-Ingredient Cocktail Wieners Recipe Is Sweet & Savory by Donna John

Back in the day in my family, you served spinach dip, queso and these cocktail wieners at every party, baby shower, birthday party or other special event. The two sauce ingredients in this cocktail wiener recipe may sound crazy, but they work.
The two-ingredient sauce is made with grape jelly and chili sauce. That's it. These sweet and savory appetizers stay warm in the slow cooker so you can enjoy visiting with friends and family. Give these slow-cooked wieners a try on New Year's Eve.

Total Time: 10 minutes (stovetop) and 4 to 6 hours (slow cooker)
Ingredients
- 2 packages (1 pound each) mini cocktail wieners
- 1 cup grape jelly
- 1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce (We always used Heinz Chili Sauce)
Here's how to make it:
- For the stove-top method, combine the grape jelly and chili sauce in a pot. Heat until melted together. Add the cocktail wieners and simmer on low heat until heated through. Serve.
- For the slow-cooker method, add all ingredients into a slow cooker. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
