This Rob Roy Cocktail Recipe Has Been Around Since 1894 (So Why Haven't You Tried One?)

Like Manhattan cocktails? Then you'll probably enjoy sipping on a Rob Roy. Invented in 1894 at the Waldorf Hotel in New York, this drink uses Scotch instead of whiskey.

You'll need:

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Put the Scotch, sweet vermouth and bitters into a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake! Strain into a coupe glassmartini glass or cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, Luxardo cherry or lemon zest. Serve.
