Maximize Those Strawberries & Reduce Food Waste With These Flavor-Infusion Tips!

Strawberries are here! They are oh so good and oh so expensive. Reduce your food waste and save money by using the whole berry.

  • Wash them.
  • Hull the berries and eat the fruit.
  • Plunk your hulls in a jar of water for an infused treat.
  • Add the hulls to vinegar and let sit for up to three days. Use the vinegar to make a delicious salad dressing with a kick of flavor.
  • Another option? Place hulls in a jar with vodka to make strawberry-infused cocktails.
