St. Patrick's Day Cocktail Recipes: Easy Drinks for Your St. Paddy's Day Celebration by Cheryl Leahy
What are your serving at your St. Patrick's Day celebration? Fun cocktails are ideal for your adult guests, and something special for the kids is key. Here are three easy St. Patrick's Day drinks sure to please (and a couple for the kiddos)!
Black and Tan: Make sure to have plenty of Guinness on hand for a black and tan. Use a pale beer like Harp's or Smithwick's on bottom, Guinness on top.
Moscow Mule: Since Moscow mules are so popular, try an Irish mule: ginger beer or ginger ale plus Irish whiskey and a squeeze of lime.
Shamrock Shake: Greet guests with a boozy shamrock shake shot, which is vanilla ice cream plus Bailey's plus Creme de Menthe.
Irish Float: For the kids, use a lemon lime soda and add scoops of lime sherbet for an Irish float. Or, keep it simple and serve them some Green River, a bright green, lime-flavored soft drink that originated in Chicago. Always a fan fave!
