4-Ingredient Guacamole Recipe Is So Much Better Than Store Bought by Heather Holter

4-Ingredient Guacamole Recipe Is So Much Better Than Store Bought

I love guacamole, but I don't like spending a lot on pre-made dips. And the packets you can add to avocados just don't taste the best. Thinking there had to be a better way to make this crave-able appetizer, I figured out a super simple recipe for my own homemade guacamole.

I don't want to brag, but my easy guacamole recipe tastes amazing! I love this homemade guac dip so much that I can eat half of it by myself as a healthy snack in just one sitting. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Cuisine: Mexican
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2 to 4

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Cut avocados in half. Remove pit. Scoop out avocados from skin. Put them in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Mash avocados with a fork for chunkier guacamole, or whip with an electric hand mixer for smooth creamy guacamole. (I prefer the fork because it is easier, less time consuming and less cleanup.)
  3. Add spices and lemon juice. Mix with a fork. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve with toasted bread or tortilla chips.

So I found another Morton's Nature's Seasons lover (Heather Holter's other recipe has it, too and sound delicious, so stay tuned it'll be published soon). My mom always cooked with Nature's Seasons, and I always have some in my pantry. Use it all the time. Got to admit, I've never put it in my guac, but will try it now. Thanks for sharing your easy recipe!

This sounds really tasty, Heather Holter . I just had some guacamole but yours sounds better. I’ll try it, thanks!

Yes, I use Nature's season in SO MANY recipes!! I think it would be a very sad day if they ever stopped making it! The "other recipe" I made last night! So delicious!

Sounds good. However, I don't know that I can live with a guacamole that doesn't have cilantro. I prefer a little onion and tomato, too, for the win 😀
