Recipe Notes

  • Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your pork chops.

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and brown them on both sides. Remove to a baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Bake the pork chops in a preheated 400-degree F oven until cooked through, about 15 to 25 minutes depending on thickness, basting often with the jelly or preserves.

Oh, this sounds good! What's your favorite preserves/jelly flavor to use, Gwen Johnson ? I'm thinking peach, apricot or jalapeno. Cherry would be great, too, I bet. Going to make this soon.
Gwen Johnson
I've actually made these with jalapeno and peach preserves before and my favorite was the jalapeno. Thought about mixing the two together too for 2 tastes in one. Orange marmalade was good too.
