Seriously, with just one ingredient you can take those chops to sweet flavortown. Another bonus is that this easy pork chop recipe is on the table in about 20 minutes. Serve these glazed pork chops with your favorite side dish and vegetable.

You could do this same technique on a pork tenderloin, too. Chop up the leftover pork and use it for fried rice or in your favorite recipes

Ingredients

  • 4 thick pork chops
  • 1/4 cup fruit jelly or fruit preserves
  • olive oil

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and brown them on both sides. Remove to a baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Bake the pork chops in a preheated 400-degree F oven until cooked through, about 15 to 25 minutes depending on thickness, basting often with the jelly.

Oh, this sounds good! What's your favorite preserves/jelly flavor to use, Gwen Johnson ? I'm thinking peach, apricot or jalapeno. Cherry would be great, too, I bet. Going to make this soon.

I've actually made these with jalapeno and peach preserves before and my favorite was the jalapeno. Thought about mixing the two together too for 2 tastes in one. Orange marmalade was good too.
