How to Make Spicy Maple Grilled Chicken (Just 3 Ingredients)! by Donna John
Grilling chicken that's been marinated is one of my favorite things. This marinade has just three ingredients but packs a big punch. And who doesn't love sweet and spicy?
- 3 teaspoons sambal oelek
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Here's how you make it:
- Combine all the ingredients in a plastic zipper bag. Pop in the fridge and marinate at least 1 hour.
- When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade. Cook over a moderately hot outside grill or inside on a hot grill pan. Baste with the marinade a few times during cooking.
Note: Watch the chicken closely while you cook it. The sugar in the maple syrup can burn very easily.
