How to Make a Sugar-free "Italian Soda" (Low-carb Sipping)!

One thing I like to do when eating low carb is treat myself to a sugar-free version of a drink that tastes a bit like an Italian soda. Here's how I make this easy drink that feels sinful when you're on a low-carb plan, but really isn't at all!

You'll need:

  • ice cubes
  • heavy cream
  • Torani Sugar Free Syrup
  • carbonated water

Here's how to make it:

  1. Put a few ice cubes in a glass.
  2. Add about 2 tablespoons of heavy cream.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon (or 2, depending on how strong you want it) of a Torani Sugar Free Syrup of your choice, or another brand of syrup made with artificial sweetener.
  4. Fill the rest of the glass with carbonated water.

Right now I'm enjoying a Torani Belgian Cookie flavored syrup my husband got me for Christmas. There are dozens of flavors to choose from, and of course there are other companies who offer great flavors that work with low-carb diets.
