Ingredients
- 3/4 cups water
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 cups chilled fresh-squeezed orange juice (from about 10 oranges)
- 1 cup chilled Prosecco
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
Here's how to make it:
- Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and bring to boil. Transfer syrup to medium bowl and chill until cold, about 2 hours.
- Add juice, Prosecco and zest to syrup. Whisk to blend well. Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Scoop the sorbet into a freezer container. Cover tightly and freeze until firm.
