These fun ice cream sandwiches on a stick start with store-bought ice cream sandwiches and can be assembled in four easy steps! Here's how:

  • Unwrap your ice cream sandwiches.
  • Pour colored sprinkles on a plate (red, white and blue for summer holidays, orange and black for Halloween, colored for a fun summer day, etc.).
  • Insert a wooden Popsicle stick or tongue depressor (available at craft stores or pharmacies).
  • Dip each side in the sprinkles to cover.

You can store these in an air-tight container in the freezer until you're ready to serve. Try not to eat more than one!

I'm making these for our July 4th party. Last year we had a sundae bar, but with the Texas heat the ice cream was almost melted before everyone made there. This year, going to just pass out these adorable treats! Thanks for the great idea, Chrissy Jones!

These were a hit at our July 4th party! Kids and adults loved them. Have made them again since for my grandson who now thinks this is how ice cream sandwiches are done, @beyondthepark.
