3 Easy Vinaigrette Recipes (You’ll Never Buy Bottled Again)!

Making a healthy vinaigrette dressing or sauce takes only minutes and requires few ingredients. 

You'll need:

  • olive oil
  • vinegar or citrus 
  • maple syrup 

Use this simple formula: 1 tablespoon of vinegar or citrus, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon maple syrup. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste the dressing. Add an extra teaspoon or two of olive oil if you prefer a less sharp flavor. Minced fresh herbs help match the dish to other components of your meal. 

Try these delicious combinations: 

  • lime and cilantro, 
  • balsamic vinegar and basil 
  • balsamic vinegar and lemon

Just drizzle over your favorite salad as a dressing or over a protein (chicken, beef, pork, fish) as a sauce!
