With coffee being an agricultural product, it’s essential that coffee lovers understand there are different grades to this crop: 

• specialty grade
• premium grade
• commercial grade 
• below grade

Of the grades, specialty grade is the best – there is not one defect allowed in this grade that affects the quality of the cup as there are in the lessor grades. Some of the defects are molds, severe insect damage, foreign objects, etc. Do your coffee research.
