Major League Baseball in 2020: How Do You Feel About the 2020 MLB Baseball Season During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic?

The Major League Baseball (MLB) post season will look a lot different this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, 16 teams will be in the postseason – eight from the American League and eight from the National League. The wildcard series will be a best of three games.

What does everybody think about the baseball season this year? Do you consider the 2020 baseball season a legit season since there’s only 60 games? How do you feel about there being no fans in the stands?

My thoughts? I think it’s crazy that there’s no fans in the stands. But I have to admit that while I’m watching the game and really into it, I sometimes forget that there aren't any fans and that the cheering is automatic.

I am glad to see the teams playing. It is a bit weird to see the stands empty, though I think it's likely much safer. What is worse, though, is to see some cardboard cutouts of fans behind home plate. Say what? Are we supposed to feel better seeing fake fans? Leave the stadium empty, please. Faking it makes it worse, IMHO. Thanks for the tip, Mike Prochaska ! Donna John Michael Kennedy Dieter Schmitz

I'm like Mike, I get so caught up in the action I don't pay much mind. Teams are doing it for a variety of reasons, and I'm fine with it as it's harmless, honors fans and gives some life to the stadiums, but this is the absolute sweetest thing I have seen so far.

Oh, my goodness. I have goosebumps! Crying right now. I take back what I said. This is an amazing way to honor special, deserving fans like Mo. Who knew the "fake fan" concept could be made into such a beautiful tribute. I am all about it. Many thanks for sharing this, Michael Kennedy . Mike Prochaska Donna John
