Fitness for Kids: 3 Ways to Make Exercise a Fun Part of Your Child's Daily Routine

Getting your child to exercise on a regular basis can be tough, especially in today’s tech-filled world. As you well know, daily exercise is extremely important for your child’s health. Here are some simple ways to knock out a workout with your child:

Walk: Going on walks every day is easy and requires nothing but your body. Simply take a few laps around your neighborhood or spice it up and turn your walk into a hike! Walks are also the perfect time to talk and catch up with your child.

Swimming: Going for a long swim is a great way to get in some cardio. It’s always fun to have races or time your child going from one end of the pool and back. Don’t have access to a pool? Make a day of it and go to your nearest lake or even the beach, just don’t forget to put on sunscreen!

Dance Party: Having a random dance party is always fun. Let your child put together a playlist of five or so songs and dance through them all! This is a great way to learn your kid’s music taste and build some confidence in their dance moves.

When are you going to have your next dance party?

Yes to walking every day! You have to get places anyway, so make your steps count for health and bonding with family. Love this. Thanks, Trevor Romain !
