Dad-to-Be: Here's the Secret to Being a Good Dad From a Personal Development Coach

“We’re having a baby!!!”

Don’t worry about being a great dad. Being a great dad isn't about holding the baby just right or knowing how to burp her or being a willing participant at an imaginary tea party. Being a good dad starts with being a good husband

Being a good dad starts with getting involved in the entire prenatal process and embracing that experience with your wife. So if you really want to be a good dad, make darn sure you’re a good husband, because great husbands become great dads.

If there’s one thing your baby needs, it’s a stable, loving home. Work to make your marriage rock solid. The good dad thing will follow, guaranteed.

Once I understood this, I slowly felt the pressure ease from my shoulders.
