2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™: The Beautiful Game Is Back & Promotes Diversity, Culture & Unity!

Every four years the “beautiful game” comes on television and the world stops to watch soccer. The 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place this June for 30 days and it will be held in different cities throughout Russia. Thirty-two countries will compete in the most exciting and beloved global sport.

I love soccer and what I love even more is playing it with my boys. We turn our living room into a soccer field. (Shhh!! Don’t tell my wife!) We also go to the park to play and it’s great to see everyone wear their national team jerseys with pride.

The World Cup promotes diversity and friendly competition in a time where there is a lot of division and conflict in our country and the world. Coming together to play the beautiful game is one way nations show that we really are all the same. Although we may all have different languages, traditions, customs, foods, religion and viewpoints, one thing that we all share is our passion for the same sport. Every four years the World Cup brings us together to celebrate our common ties as people and deep love for soccer.

Now that is truly beautiful!
