Right Brained Mom: Meet This Amazing Artist & Loose Part Play Expert That Inspires Me

I want to introduce you all to Brandon, the Right Brained Mom. She is an amazing artist who makes amazing educational loose part play toys and lives in the great country up north – beautiful Haliburton, Ontario, Canada.

Brandon studied early childhood education, but has been at home with her two little kiddos for the past few years. She is a great artist, or “maker,” and creates amazing things out of wood that are great for teaching children outside the box. I am jealous of her art-making skills and love the way she embraces childhood and the importance of play.

Check out her blog and store to be inspired to do more loose part play with your kiddos. I personally love all her stuff and have been inspired to create more open, loose part play. Until I started reading her blog, I never realized that you could add so much color to loose part play. It inspired me to be a better parent and teacher.
