Mountain Bike Festival: Enjoy the Beauty of Fall & the Best Mountain Biking Around During the Brown County Epic by 30Seconds Travel
It’s fall in Brown County, which means bright colors and beautiful foliage. There’s no better time to get out and hit the trails … Brown County’s world-class mountain biking trails that is.
Combining the best of both worlds, the Brown County Epic Mountain Bike Festival not only will showcase Brown County’s exceptional trail systems, but also will provide the perfect opportunity for admiring its colorful scenery. On October 6-8, 2017, bikers, spectators, enthusiasts and everyone in between will be able to experience Brown County’s famous autumn season and some of the best mountain biking in the Midwest during the Brown County Epic Festival.
Presented by the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association (HMBA), the festival will take place in the Brown County State Park, providing plenty of gorgeous scenery and mountain biking trails galore. With routes varying from 25 to 100 miles, this festival is a mountain biker’s dream come true. More than biking alone, the Brown County Epic also will include a wide variety of cycling inspired events, demos, camping, a beer garden, group rides, clinics, games, raffles, live music, post-ride BBQ and food by Big Woods Brewing Company throughout the weekend.
A good time for everyone (even those choosing not to ride), the Brown County Epic will benefit HMBA, who has been hard at work building and maintaining the trail system in the State Park since the early 2000s. Bikers and attendees can register and pay for all events in person beginning Friday, October 6, at 12 p.m. at the Epic’s headquarters in the Brown County State Park. Registration also is available online at bikereg.com/brown-county-epic-mountain-bike-festival. All proceeds, as well as donations, raised from the Epic will directly benefit HMBA.
