Bath Salts Too Harsh? Try This All-Natural Skin Exfoliant!

Bath salts are used for exfoliating dead skin that can clog your pores. But for those with sensitive skin, bath salts can be too abrasive. If you want a natural exfoliant, try adding 2 to 4 cups of buttermilk to a warm bath. The lactic acid in milk is an alpha hydroxy acid that works as a gentle, natural exfoliant.

After soaking in the buttermilk bath for 20 minutes, wipe away loose skin cells with a washcloth or a loofah using a gentle, circular motion on your skin, then rinse off with a shower. Your skin will feel renewed, moisturized and supple. Plus, you've saved money on pricey products!
