Bridge Educational Advocacy works to ensure that children have access to the necessary educational services that will enable them to benefit from their instructional programming. Effective advocates influence by using facts, relationships, and communication to identify the needs of students. Bridge Educational Advocacy gives a voice to students and their families when concerns and interests are not being heard by their school districts.

Too many families struggle to get their children the services necessary for them to be successful learners. Parents are equal partners with their school districts in the educational process that supports student learning; yet, when concerns arise, parents are often met with resistance, jargon, and barricades. Breaking down those barriers should not be a parent's responsibility, but school districts can be difficult systems to navigate. Having worked in public schools for the last 23 years, Bridge Education Advocacy understands the system, knows the language, and advocates to evoke the conversations necessary to achieve positive outcomes for students.

As an experienced public school administrator, university professor, general and special education teacher and parent of three beautiful daughters, the youngest with multiple disabilities, Pepi M. Silverman, Founder and Director of Bridge Educational Advocacy has the unique and comprehensive experience to work with educational systems throughout Illinois. By utilizing sound educational practices, data analysis, and a comprehensive understanding of service delivery, Bridge Educational Advocacy has the abilities to facilitate positive outcomes for the students we represent.
