Alan Guttman holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from New York University and has served in leadership, management, training, and teaching roles in early care and education programs for 40 years. He has taught in public school and private preschool and kindergarten classrooms, directed public and private non-profit Head Start and child development programs, and presented workshops at state, regional, and national early care and education conferences. He is currently the Program Administrator for Special Projects at the John Hopkins University IDEALS Institute. Alan and his colleagues at IDEALS are expert early care and education practitioners and thought leaders.
