Courtney is a senior administrator at a small state college in New York who loves her husband, toddler, and 10-year-old former barn cat as much as she loves her work with students. Her parents dreamed she’d be a writer after reading the dense volumes of poetry she penned as a melodramatic teenager in a small town; however, writing lengthy emails to colleagues is as close to a writing career as she ever got. In her (incredibly limited) free time, she loves photography, reading, kayaking and hiking.
