All Aboard for Christmas Fun: Jump on the Polar Express for a Magical Holiday Experience!

As the sun sets over Miami, the staff at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum works hard getting the Polar Express train ready for the families arriving in their pajamas, eyes full of hope that Santa will be spotted.

Waiting in line to board the Polar Express, the children’s anticipation grows and even the adults start to get excited. The antique train pulls into the station where the Christmas lights are twinkling in the dark evening sky. Everyone holds their ticket making their way to their car.

Once on board we settle in, waiting for the conductor to punch our tickets and dancing chefs to bring us cocoa. As the train glides down the tracks everyone sings songs and all of us glance out of the windows waiting for Santa.

Soon, we arrive at the North Pole where Santa boards the train with his elves and delivers little gifts to each of us. The children’s faces are glowing as Santa makes his way through the train. The holiday merriment is contagious; everyone seems to be caught up in the magic of the Polar Express.

Suddenly we don’t feel silly wearing our pajamas out in public, in fact, it seems like the perfect thing to do. If you don’t live in Miami don’t worry, there are Polar Express train rides all over the country.

It was so much fun for the kids and the adults! It really got us into the holiday experience watching the joy and wonder in the kids faces and singing songs together as a group on the train. We loved it!
