Make Middle-of-the-Night Newborn Baby Feedings More Manageable - It's Simple! by Cheryl Leahy

Having a newborn is amazing, but middle-of-the-night feedings can be tiresome and difficult. If you choose to bottle-feed, here's what I do to make it easier:

  • I pre-fill bottles with water, then fill a separate container with the corresponding amount of formula.
  • When Baby wakes to feed, I put the formula in the bottle and shake it up.
  • I keep the bottle on my nightstand, ready to go.

This saves me from making a trip in the middle of the night, and prevents accidentally mixing an incorrect ratio.

Any time-saving tips help, especially at 2 in the morning!

Just started doing this and it's made all the difference! I even bought a travel sized bottle warmer to keep on my nightstand as well :)
