Decorate Outdoor Holiday Planters & Then Let Them Freeze (Really)!

It's about that time to decorate your outdoor planters for the holiday season. It's a fun way to get excited about the holidays and make your home even more inviting. Winter weather can whip everything around, so here's a suggestion to keep all your items firmly in place all season long.

  • Place all your garland, twigs, branches, holly, small pre-lit Christmas tree, etc., in the dirt of the planter.
  • Very carefully, pour cold water in the dirt.

In colder climates, it will freeze, making sure everything stays in place the way you want it to look all winter. Happy holidays!
