Workbooks for Kids: Here Are 2 Ways to Continue Learning During the Summer School Break by Alice V
Summer is around the corner, and then around the corner from that is another school year. One of my goals when the kiddos are not in school is to keep the learning going. Here are two ways to do it without braking the bank:
- Worksheet Downloads: I’ve made my own worksheets as well as downloaded them from the internet. But I have more fun making mine because I can customize and share them online. Worksheets tailored to your kids can keep their brains sharp on what’s to come the following school year.
- Workbooks: Here’s a neat little cheat for those of you who don’t want to bother with printable worksheets: Amazon (see links below) and Costco both have workbooks that you can buy under $10. These books are very thick and full of activities for grade school ages. I like to get one that prepares them for the year ahead and have them do a few pages a day.
Summer is full of pool days and sleeping in but that doesn’t mean your kids have to stop learning. The TV can be put on pause for a little STEAM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)!
