TouchPoints: You May Be Able to Relieve Anxiety & Stress in As Little As 30 Seconds! by Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP

TouchPoints: You May Be Able to Relieve Anxiety & Stress in As Little As 30 Seconds!

As a parent of an anxious child, I’m always looking for alternative solutions to anxiety and stress. Finding help can be challenging, especially with kids. Neuropsychologist Dr. Amy Serin and child advocate Vicki Mayo discovered that BLAST (Bilateral Alternating Stimulation Tactile) can produce brain changes in just 30 seconds!

BLAST has historically been used for patients struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Serin found that BLAST can be helpful with stress, anxiety, anger management, sleep, focus and reducing cravings. She designed a non-invasive wearable device called TouchPoints™ that provide a gentle vibration that helps alter the fight, flight or freeze response in the brain. Adults and children, including my own, have felt the benefits in just 30 seconds!

My son described to me that he could feel a difference in his brain when wearing them. He said it was hard to describe but it was a positive impact in his brain. My friends son asks to wear them every night before bed to help him sleep. I am in love with them!
