If you want an exercise program that really works, try the FITT Principle.

Frequency: How often will you exercise? Three to five times a week is a good start (with your doctor's OK)!

Intensity: How hard will you work? For weight loss, high intensity is ideal, but you can reap the mental/physical health benefits of exercise even at lower intensities.

Type: What type of activity will you do? Cardio? Weight training? Flexibility? Good programs incorporate all three.

Time: Even 20 minutes a day works.
