Leprechaun Traps: A Fun St. Patrick's Day Tradition to Start With Kids!

Looking for a fun St. Patrick's Day tradition for your family that will get them thinking creatively? Create a leprechaun trap! Traps can take all shapes and sizes. Brainstorm ideas with your child, then use items at home to create the ultimate trap! Watch out: Leprechauns are tricky buggers and have been known to:

  • Turn milk and toilet water green (hello food coloring).
  • Make snow angels in Lucky Charms .
  • Rearrange a house or toy area.
  • Leave footprints in the front yard.

If the leprechaun is caught, even for a moment, he must leave his gold-wrapped candy, and you can follow his escape via his tiny green footprints! Have fun!
