How to Raise Happy, Healthy & Confident Kids: 5 Ways to Connect With Your Children Right Now

Through the Trevor Romain Company, I have been able to help hundreds of thousands of kids. Here are five approaches to help your child become happier, healthier and more confident:

Talk: Talking out loud about things we are going through actually helps you to work through, and resolve, issues and difficult situations better than just thinking about a solution. It can be a friend, family member or teacher.

Ask: Reach out for support if you are going through a difficult time. Nobody should go through tough times alone. Someone is always there for you. If you don’t find support from the first person you ask, then keep asking until you find someone.

Journal: Research has shown that if you write down the things you are going through, like how you are feeling and what you are feeling, it helps you to express more deeply what you are experiencing. Writing in a journal works to release pent-up emotions that may feel trapped.

ExerciseExercising has been proven to reduce stress. Being healthy boosts your immune system, which in turn helps you to better manage tough times.

Be Kind: When you are kind to someone, even if you are sad and depressed, it actually releases chemicals in your body that help you feel better. Also, when you are kind to others you feel like your life has more value, which makes life feel more worthwhile and positive.
